Walking trainers

I need some Uber comfortable trainers suitable for travelling, walking round cities all day sightseeing and mild hiking. I’ve been using my running trainers but they aren’t working and leave me aching. Please recommend your favourites.

Skechers every time for me. I can't wear proper trainers at all.

I recently bought some Columbia hiking trainers and they are really comfy.

I buy ASICS, both regular and goretex.

Skechers d'lites. They are slightly on the big side so I wear with either thick socks or 2 pairs of normal socks

I've been wearing Hotter Mist GTX for years. I walk about 40 miles a week.

I can't do sketchers at all, they kill my feet. I recently got a pair of Reeboks that are great for all day wear including dog walking up and down hill tracks.

Reebok are the comfiest for walking around in.

Not cheap but I did have some Brooks walking shoes that were comfortable. Also like Salomon (their walking shoes; not trail running shoes) and Merell walking shoes.

Only on I port at the moment but I swar by Scarpa mojito. Don't look half bad with heabs etc and away, can walk miles, rugged enough to deal with gard stuff.

The thing with decent walking shoes vs just trainers is a vibram sole.

I love ASICS for running but they are the ones that are causing me trouble with walking atm. Do they have a non running trainer you use?

I use any trainer of theirs with an orthotic insole - have you tried insoles? They changed my life and pretty much anything is comfy now, even wellies. Just basic ones from boots.

I guess what I'm saying is maybe it is your feet, not the trainers.
