Tops for jeans - I’m clueless

I’ve recently lost a massive amount of weight (6 stone and counting) and still have another 14 kg or so to my goal. I’m now a size 14 which I’m bloody delighted about, but I’ve spent so long hiding under oversized T shirts and jumpers that I genuinely have no clue what to wear now with jeans.

I’m living in high loose tapers from Levi, which are perfect at the moment with vest tops or bodysuits, and I look put together, but thinking forward to slightly cooler weather where I’ll need at least a half sleeve, I’m stumped.

I tried a normal T shirt which looked horrific and made me look boxy, was far better tucked in but I still wasn’t a fan.

Please help!

Congratulations on your weight loss. The jeans sound great.

Ditch the square boxy t-shirts and go instead for ones that follow the shape of your body. Long, elbow or bracelet length sleeves. They don't need to be tight, just a lot more streamlined than a man's t-shirt

Uniqlo, M&S, Baukjen might be some places to try but you can probably find them in sainsbury's, H&M , piemark etc

What about another layer over the vests and bodies you’re currently wearing? So something like a blazer, or a cardi you can wear open over the top?
Or for a similar silhouette to what you’ve currently got, some fine knit jumpers you can tuck in easily to the jeans?

Congrats!

If you’re going to lose more weight, would you want to spend money on clothes now? How about getting your large clothes tailored down? Do you have anything you can wear with a belt to give more shape?

I know this isn’t what you’re asking, but I’d be tempted to save the money for a proper blowout when you reach your goal weight :)
