Plus Size Formal Office Wear

Evening! Where are people's recommendations for smart, formal women's wear? I occasionally need formal attire for Court appearances (so skirts, jackets smart shirts, trousers etc) and I'm 5' 8" and a relatively in proportion size 20.

Any help appreciated!

Honestly, I would go M&S for the actual tailored pieces to start with. Then spend my money on nice silky shirts, statement jewellery, shoes and a decent leather briefcase style bag.

I'm a similar size and having the same problem. I think M&S is absolutely awful at the minute. Really surprised at the number of recs on this thread. And as for John Lewis, they have approx 10 items in a size 20, so not exactly a lot of choice 🤔

Really? I wear size 22 and when I search JL usually has loads.

I agree that M&S quality isn’t what it was. When I order things that look good on the website they usually look cheap in person.

John Lewis website has over 750 items in a size 20. There must be something there that is suitable!

Ok, sorry to everyone taking offence at my description of JL. Let me rephrase. JL has about 10 items i would actually wear in size 20, that are not coats / cardigans / accessories etc, that in in stock, that aren't made from polyester or cost ££££. The Live Unlimited dresses are not work suitable for my job.
