Using e45 cream to wash face

Evening,

There was a post on here a while back enquiring as to whether e45 cream can be used to cleanse the face.

I've heard of people doing this, and the consensus of the thread was a yes.

Just wanted to ask, would it be advised that this is done once a day, or if someone wants to wash their face twice a day as part of their routine, would using e45 twice a day to cleanse the face be okay?

I think it would depend a lot on your skin type.
if you are used to cleansing morning and night, maybe switch to e45 once a day, see how it goes and then try twice.

Have you tried aqueous cream? It's designed to be emulsified by water and rinse off.

I'd imagine it's totally fine, after all aqueous cream is suitable for cleansing and it will be washed off regardless- but for what purpose? If you have dry skin or are eczema prone there are lots of really good cream cleansers around that are probably more suited to using around the eye area and would probably be nicer to use.
