I don’t own many dresses. In fact, I only have 3 (2 maxi summer ones and 1 shorter summer one), none for autumn/winter. I am definitely a trousers girl but would like to update my wardrobe a bit this winter and buy a couple of dresses. What style would you recommend for a short rectangle? I also always struggle to find nice shoes to wear with dresses in winter. I own nice knee boots with a bit of heel but I maybe wear them once a year so that’s not realistic… I am not crazy about the contrast of dark tights with trainers, don’t like flats in winter, brogues don’t suit me and ankle boots only look good on me if with a heel (again, not for everyday but would wear them in the office).
what shoes do you wear with dresses in winter?
i’d also like to explore new brands for dresses… the sort of brands I like are: Sezane, COS, Whistles, Anthropologie and many more. I don’t like stuff that is too classic (think LK Bennett office type of clothes) or too “art teacher” (think White Stuff).
