Keep seeing this company advertised on fb and like the look of some of it
Anyone bought from here and what is the quality like?

I've had a lot of ads on Insta, which makes me apprehensive immediately. A fashion blogger I follow did a YouTube short on them recently and while she said the quality was variable and was happy with some items, many comments were people saying "can't believe you are giving this company airtime because their stuff is awful". So not sure what to think.

fedup078 · 28/08/2022 19:24

@SummaLuvin yeah I've seen mixed reviews too
Shame, as the stuff looks good and unusual
Really struggling to know where to buy clothes from these days

It's a Shein a-like. Chinese fast fashion clone.

StayWeird · 28/08/2022 19:44

It's hit and miss. DD has ordered a couple of bits from there. The quality wasn't brilliant, thin material and loose threads but the fit was perfect on her so she was happy. And to be fair the items she bought do look good on her, although I'd say they were overpriced for the quality.

MandaLynn · 28/08/2022 20:50

I've been looking at them lately too - but not convinced. There's a lot of Cider on Vinted though...could be a way to test it?

BodGaoithe · 12/11/2022 10:38

Sorry to resurrect on old thread, but I’ve bought quite a few chunky cardigans and knitted dresses off Cider and they have been really good for the price. Has anyone bought any trousers or skirts; are they any good or are they very cheap looking?

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 12/11/2022 12:27

If you’re young and slim it’s quite good. Quite small and Chinese fast fashion.

some pretty prints though - got a Tuille de Joeuy print bodysuit this summer.

BodGaoithe · 12/11/2022 16:20

Ah I might just stick to the fitted cardigans then; I’m quite wide of hip!

hugznotdrugz · 12/11/2022 16:25

@BoBodGaoithe I buy alot from cider- they fits good I wouldn't say the quality is super amazing but it's not terrible either

BodGaoithe · 12/11/2022 18:56

@hugznotdrugz Ive bought cardigans, fitted cropped blouses, knitted dresses and collared sweaters/ tank tops and they have all been great. I’m always a bit more cautious with bottoms though; I have quite a small waist but v wide hips, which doesn’t always work out well with these kind of shops! Some of the trousers look really nice though.

Also, not sure if you’ve had this, but once I wanted to return a couple of things that were a bit baggier than I was expecting, but still perfectly wearable. They said I could keep the clothes if I accepted store credit instead of a cash refund. Amazing; I just bought even more cardigans haha! I’m not sure if that was a one time deal or their usual policy though.

hugznotdrugz · 12/11/2022 18:59

@BBodGaoithe yes they're great like that!

I have awkward proportions with hips and waist and found the bottoms fit well the only thing I've found not fit the best are jumpsuit- but I'm short and have problems with alot of them 😅

BodGaoithe · 12/11/2022 19:44

@hugznotdrugz oooh good to hear! I might have to try the trousers after all!

LookItsMeAgain · 12/11/2022 19:58

DD got a bundle of clothes from there. All perfect and look really well on her. They're not high quality fabrics but they are comfortable and they fit and they wear well.
