How to glam up an LBD

Going to a 50th next week and the hostess is very fashionable very particular and has very high grooming standards.
Dress code is "glam" so I assume an lbd works but mine is completely black no detail and just wondering how to "glamourise" it?
Which works better blow dry/up do? Anything else?

Brightly coloured shoes - Zara are good for this

Drop blingy earrings - Sworovski are lovely

A WOC or evening clutch

Good blow dry and make up

Possibly up. Adds to the glam! I would add a very decent sparkly necklace and earrings. A decent evening bag is always good and you can add colour with shoes. I also quite like the chunky link gold necklaces around at the moment. They look Italian snd are dressy. Arket are quite good on these. Even M&S might have some. &OtherStories usually have nice jewellery too. (Unless you have the real thing of course!)

Ooh yes good call on bright shoes
And I have some good drop earrings that may work...

Silver jewellery adds a classy look to a LBD. Necklace and earrings, and a bag/clutch with silver hardware. Wear those with heels and you're "glam".

Gold is the jewellery colour right now. It’s easier to make it look expensive when it isn’t.
