Boots glitch? 10p for 6 items

Hello

So I just have a quick question, has anyone ever placed an order when the Boots website seemed to have some sort of glitch? Did they readjust the payment total?

I just placed an order where the total was £0.10.

I really needed the items so I just went with it, I tried on my laptop and another phone and it showed the same amount for the total. I checked my bank app and PayPal and the payment shows as “pending” which is quite normal.

Do you think they’ll end up accepting the 10p payment or could it be possible that they’ll charge the actual total later on?

I had one where there was a glitch but they canceled it before I managed to get through to anyone on twitter about it. It wasn't that big a glitch though.

They'll probably cancel the order. What did you order?

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Boots are shit and cancel orders all the time. I don't think they're going to let you have loads of stuff for 10p.

I got over £100 worth of soap and glory skincare for just postage once- about 4 years ago I think. I expected it to be cancelled but it went through like normal.

Ive never understood why boots have such
An AWFUL website. For such a huge company the website just is not good enough - for both design and function

As you've paid by PayPal it may be a "test" payment and the full amount will be debited afterwards
This often happens at a pay at pump fuel station
I hope it's a glitch though. Boots are shit these days

I was only going to get 2 electric toothbrushes but the total showed up as a negative number (-£7.50) so I thought they’d definitely cancel it then. I added other things I would’ve eventually got but didn’t desperately need just to make it a non negative number so ended up as 10p

2 electric toothbrushes
2 bath soaks
1 hair mask
1 shower gel
1 toothpaste

The payment does show as “pending” on PayPal but I’m hoping they won’t notice it as it’s a Sunday and bank holiday tomorrow so hoping everyone working at Boots is too chill to dispute it 😂
