The side boob is most likely boob that can't get in the cup.
You could try the boob or bust measuring system. They have a website and Facebook page.
I am a 14 was wearing a 34e and now wearing a 32h and look slimmer as the boobs are supported.

Bravissimo
John Lewis
An independent shop (I'm near Bristol and can recommend one local to me if that's any use).

You're wearing too small a bra if you've got side boob.

I recommend boob or bust to give you an idea, but even then you need to try lots of different bras on and experiment. Bras are like another clothes nowadays, the sizes vary widely between different shops and brands. The style of bra also makes a huge difference. I hate those moulded t-shirt bras and really prefer balcony bras. You also need to make sure your bra is sitting properly. Too many women wear their bras with the back too high up. The back should be level with your boobs at the front.

I also find boob or bust is quick to squeeze you into a smaller back size. Which then gives you the back fat and chaffe. My back measurement is 38 inches but boob or bust always puts me in a size 36

Yep try boob or bust and use that as a guide.

I went from being measured as a 38A to 34 F.

Your underband size should be dress size plus 20 as a rule of thumb so a 12 =32 14=34 and so on.

Do not add 4 or 5 inches to the band size.

I'm a 16 and wear band size 34 or 35 depending on shop.

Sister sizes have the same m cup volume size- so a 34F is the same as a 36E.

Shape and style and brand also have a factor to play.

Too smal cup for the side boob, you need a form band and scoop the boob into the cup

cherrypiepie · 28/08/2022 16:11

What dress size are you?

lilybloom2 · 28/08/2022 21:39

I wear 8-10

Try a 30 E and F

If the 30 E band is too tight try the 30F as the lack cup volume can make the band tight. If that's too tigh go up a band size and down a cup so 32 DD or 32 E. Actually try the 30F first.

I prefer a three hook strap. The band sits level all the way round. Scoop and swoop!

Bra stop online is good for brands. ASDA and Matalan have decent cheap DD + ranges

Good luck. It really Is an art not a science and if you find one you like buy 4! black white nude and any other colour ( I have two back and two nude)

I went to bravissimo and took back what I bought as it just wasn't right

Thank you
There's an Asda near my work. I will pop in today
