Capsule wardrobe

Ok - so I am trying to do this again.
I'm trying to put a casual / after work capsule wardrobe together.
so my thoughts are to start with some high quality t shirts and vest tops/ camisoles.
Lady of a certain age who needs to be able to get rid of layers quickly when needed.
My thoughts are 7 T shirts and 7 vest tops
3 pairs of Jeans
5 shirts/ blouses

i"m 5'0 and 8'8. And don't mind investing if they are worth having.

High quality at not low prices: have a look at

Studio Nicholson

Or

Toteme

And have a tailor / alterations service on standby.

Alternatively, in descending order of price

Massimo Dutti or Community Clothing or Uniqlo are all places that could supply the constituent parts of a minimalist wardrobe.

But I’m not sure it’s a good idea to be too prescriptive about what you need. Certainly in middle age I find it’s worth making an effort to look contemporary. So choose good shops and be guided by what they’re selling.
