Are skinny jeans and boots back in for autumn?
I like my mum jeans!
I've seen lots of over sized shirts.
Help! I am rubbish with autumn and spring clothes. Summer is easy, winter in great. It's the inbetween!

Shirt dresses with an oversized grungy cardigan and boots. Or black mom jeans (can just about squeeze back into them now i’m 3 months postpartum), a graphic tee, high top converse an you guessed it, a slouchy cardigan. 🤣 I also have a couple of knitted dresses that I’m looking forward to wearing again, and my pinafore dress with a printed or frilly blouse underneath. Mac sin or black lipstick and winged liner.

appreciate my style isn’t for everyone though.

I'm wondering if I'm a Next size 12 in "mom jeans" but I'm an 8 in their skinny jeans. (Couldn't even pull size 10 mom jeans over my bottom!)

I usually wear straight jeans with ankle boots and a loose/silky shirt and knitwear. I like skinny jeans, as long as they are not “tooo skinny” and worn with the right shoes.
i also like wearing coulotte type trousers. Not flattering maybe but I like them.

What are grungy cardigans? I’m not your age range but like to know what’s in.

Sort of slouchy and oversized, like something Kurt Colbain would wear. Bonus points for tortoiseshell or wooden type buttons. I wouldn’t say it’s exactly in though i’ve been wearing this sort of thing since my indie days.

I think we were all traumatised from the low rise jeans of the naughties if we're in our 30's now. You needed and like a ironing board to pull them off 😳 which I never possessed and never will!

They're hideously unflattering but so comfy that I don't care! Mine are from M&S and they're great

Work: dungaree dresses and jumper dresses with thick tights and ankle boots

Casual: skinny jeans/thick leggings with oversized jumpers and knee high boots or trainers

Pretty much same thing I've worn for half my life 😂

This spurred me to go on a couple of expensive sites to have a look at what’s on trend. I reached the conclusion that everything is (skinny jeans, boyfriend, mum, wide) it’s just a matter of how you put them together.

I hate 'mom' jeans, they make me look like a toddler. I will be in dresses tights and boots the minute I can be.

Some of the jeans I saw go up to your armpits. A most bizarre and unflattering look.

@tiredandstripey I think this is my permanent look. I love love love patterns and bright colours but then I dont care, may look like a crazy cat lady but black somehow never suited me and I dislike cream/beige sort of neutral outfits.

To answer the question, DRESSES, I got quite a few off vinted etc, really looking forward wearing them in autumn, Midi, mini, patterns, trousers with some eye catching patterns, I just need to get some nice boots to do with.
