What jeans for the winter?

I've been wearing looser or tapered cropped during the summer and my skinny jeans feel really weird now but I'm not sure about the baggier ones in full length somehow.
What are you all wearing? I tend to wear flat Chelsea boots through the winter.

If you don't mind cold ankles a rolled mom Jean would work with Chelsea boots. I live in wellies in winter so I can't see a way to abandon skinnies though so I won't be voting them as 'out'

Just wear long socks under the jeans with your Chelsea boots? I ditched skinny jeans years ago but I am not a long boot person, so that works well for me.

I think socks and rolled up jeans looks silly so I will still be tucking skinnies and tapered jeans into ankle boots. I’ve ditched long boots

I tend to wear:

  • chunky Chelsea boots that come slightly higher up the leg, with slim straight jeans
-barrel or mom jeans with lace up boots like cherry red DMs or Grenson Nanettes

I think cropped looks good with ankle boots that come slightly higher up - like DMs. Are your Chelsea boots quite short? Mine are like these Grenson ones
