Babyliss curl secret from Vinted

I'm wondering if anyone has one of these curlers ?

I've bought one off Vinted for £6. But it was advertised as'new with tags ' which it clearly isn't.

I've tried to have a go tonight (previously had a wylera curler but it died and couldn't afford the £80 to replace !)

This Babyliss one sounds like it's on its last legs - and it tangled a huge chunk of hair up which I've ended up pulling out.

I'm gonna wash my hair tomorrow and try it again but it sounded sluggish and didn't really work very well .

Does anyone have one ? Is this just how they are or could it be a fake or something?
There's loads of cheap copies of the wylera one out there that are rubbish

Thanks

I have one and what you describe does not sound right. It is quite noisy as it sucks the hair up, you have to make sure the bit with white writing on is facing your head and not put too big a chunk of hair in at once to avoid it tangling, i have only tangled mine a couple of times when rushing and it is a bit of a panic moment! Came out ok though fortunately.

I have one and I just put it half way down my hair and I think you should try a smaller amount of hair to start off with till you get used to it

It works -got the hang of it now and yes it needs nice clean hair and small sections .
