My nearly 3yr old needs new wellies and I have found a great deal on hunter wellies. Are they worth it or just go with joules wellies?

Never had hunters for my DD (I have some) but joules wellies have a 12 month guarantee, I took some back a while ago as they’d come away at the toes and they replaced them with no issue, think I’d had them about 6 months. Big fan of joules customer service!!

Hunters wellies are great, but surely a 3 year old would outgrow them in a matter of months - so are a complete waste of money?

Thanks - I have brought him a different brand

I know you have already purchased but I would say neither! Both have become very shoddy in quality in recent years.

go to your local agricultural shop and get the ones they sell to farming families for kids.

in our case that's the green border wellies.

indestructible.

Yeah I always say with wellies, go really really top end (probably not worth it for kids) or absolute low end. Think green Dunlop for £7. They are really really hard wearing. I have a few pairs that have gone through 3 small children and are still good!
joules and Hatly and even Tesco and sainsburys look cute but won’t last until they ate outgrown in my experience.
me so wear wellies every day though from probably end sept to may !

Appreciate it’s too late now but Hunter were great a couple of years ago. Mine would trash wellies in months (forest nursery, I tried a lot of types). Hunter ones were pretty indestructible.
