Nice petite sumner clothes

That's it really! Since being diagnosed with Long Covid I can exercise less so some of my muscle tone has gone on my legs, arms and abs. I'm a size 6/8 but only 5 ft 1 and very small bust (34A/B). I've recently been on holiday in France and have felt so unattractive . Everyone is in lovely sundresses that I can't wear and they all need an ample chest to fill them! I'm very pale skinned anyway but this year I've felt so frumpy knocking around in shorts and vest tops. I refuse not to eat nice nice things I can't have the rest of the year which has the natural effect of collecting around my middle too. I can only conclude that some people do not eat on holiday!!!
Where can I find some nice petite clothes to help me feel a bit more attractive again, especially summer ones? I usually try Next and Boden for petite but there wasn't much I liked this year....

Hobbs and FWM both good and available online from John Lewis.
My mum wears petites and she orders click and collect from JL to the local Waitrose, brings home, tries everything on and drops off any returns back to Waitrose. It's hard buying petite sizes, there's never anything in the shops!

I am petite and very short waisted and taking everything to a tailor to be adjusted has transformed my wardrobe. It means I don’t have to stick to boring petite ranges and stuff actually fit and flatters.

Most Sundresses would be very simple to adjust, and lots of styles are fitted around the bust then looser over the tummy area. Lots of styles don’t require an ample chest - there are lots of backless or strappy styles around this year that work better on smaller busted women who can go braless.

zalando and ASOS have lots of petite options. French women tend to be smaller than British women and I actually find lots of regular French brands are petite-friendly.

Also, have you tried the boob or bust way of measuring your bra size? If you’re size 6/8 I bet you’re not a 34 back, and wearing the right size can transform your shape.

Sezane come up smaller but can be pricey, occasionally hush size four fits (hush sizing I find comes up really large) jigsaw & whistles although not petite the sizing is good I’m shorter than you but bigger busted it’s difficult finding clothing that fits French connection can be worth a look & Reiss I have very little joy with M&S or next petite always very big on the hips, Zara again hit n miss occasionally find something.

I am your height (but a size 12!) and I only buy in petite ranges. Boden has the largest petite range, by far. Online, but you can return to Waitrose or by post/courier. I buy lots of things there, with the odd thing lately from tu (online petite range).

m&s seems to have abandoned its online petite range, so I’ve bought some BNWT M&S petite items from eBay. I agree that they tend to come up big.

in the past I’ve bought petite from Dorothy Perkins and Wallis.

I can’t get my head around asos or new look petite as everything seems so short!

Thank you - some great suggestions here that I've not heard of before
