Where can I get some designer boots authenticated? Pics attached

Bought some second hand Bottega Veneta lug boots for an absolute steal. I am as sure as I can be that they're genuine but is there somewhere who will authenticate for me?

They are nice boots and look well made. If they fit you, why do you need to authenticate them?

Is the area I've circled in red pale thread coming through from the inside of the boot? It's hard for me to tell from your photos.

If you're in London you could take them into the store on Old Bond Street, I imagine they'd be able to help.

I can definitely see how it looks like they do so I've taken a close up. No, it's absolutely fine. Think possibly lighting or my terrible photo taking!

I've pored over them and done lots of comparing to those online and everything matches in terms of stitching, them being leather inside and out and the rubber sole being quite spongy

Thing is, they were very cheap - compared to the £940 usual price tag so I've taken a bit of a punt

Good idea taking them into a store - not near London sadly!

Drop them a message and see if they can recommend a service. They may have their own that you can send them off to.

Is there a style code printed anywhere? It would usually be on the inner of the boot - 6 digits plus possibly the size afterwards. Did they come with any packaging?
