Easy false eyelashes

I'd like to start wearing false eyelashes but there are so many to choose from! I don't want the ones that stay in as I like to rub my eyes too much and also sleep on my face. I don't want huge thick ones either, just some everyday ones to add extra length that are easy to apply. Any recommendations?

I like Ardell Demi wispies - I tend to cut them in thirds or half and only use on the outer corner of my eye, enough for some flutter but not huge black thick ones!

Oooh, they look good! Do you wear mascara with them?

Have you considered individual eyelash extensions from a lash tech instead?

I've had mine done for years and will never be without now, they're more expensive obviously but much more comfortable!

I came on to say Ardell Demi wispies too - and don’t worry about trying different eyelash glue to find one that suits you. I curl my eyelashes, put mascara on, add the false lashes and then curl again to try and sort of…blend them together.

@MrsU2022 I don't think they'd work for me. I rub my eyes a lot, can't wear jewellery or tight fitting clothing, hate bras or anything on my body that shouldn't be there! No matter how drunk I am I will always take my make up off or I can't sleep.

@QueenOfWeeds Do you have to clean the extensions to get the mascara off?

Are the demi wispies easy to apply? I am so bad at applying false lashes that I just don't bother anymore, I love how they look they when they are on though and would love to be able to do my own.

I can't put lashes on, I have tried and tried for years. These are a total game changer.

If the mascara is dry, I find it doesn’t transfer.

I find the demi wispies easy to apply because you don’t have to get them right into the inner corner - much less fiddly!

I do wear a tiny bit of mascara, then the lashes on the edges! That's why it's so easy to apply, because I'm only putting on half a lash. I also have the little curved eyelashes application tool thingy from Amazon - it's fab basically puts it onto the curve of your eye and it's all good. I tend to peel off the eyelash glue and occasionally wipe onto a cotton pad with micellar water if they look like they need it. I can get 10+ applications from one half lash 😊
