Size 5.5 simple strap on heels

Can anyone help point me in the direction of some black strappy heels? I'm a size 5.5 and am finding it so hard to find anything! Something similar to the photo, a slight block heel or stiletto.
I don't want to spend a fortune as won't wear them much, but need something for a wedding so want them to fit well as they will be worn all day/night. I find a 5 too tight and a 6 is loose at the heel.
Ideally I'd like to be able to try them on first, but think online will have more options, especially as I live in the countryside and it's a trek to anywhere with decent shops!

Clarks do a five and a half, do they have anything suitable ? I am the same size and it is annoying when there are only full sizes available. A 39 is sometimes ok as it is slightly smaller than a UK six, but it varies by brand.

Thanks, just looked at Clark's online and the selection is awful! Very frumpy.
Unfortunately I think part of the problem is the time of year, if it was nearer Christmas there would probably be more 'party' options. Anything I've seen in shops at the mo is frumpy, has an ugly square toe, or covered in diamanté!

I feel your pain. My feet are even more awkward as one is 5.5 and the other is a 5. It's so hard to find shoes, especially summer sandals. Next do half sizes on some styles. I also find some of the wide fit in Next and New Look fit me in a 5.

How about these from Riverisland, also available in black, I've worn them so several weddings this year, found them pretty comfy, but I'm good at heels
