What to wear now?

How to find my post baby non maternity style?

I have a 2 year old, pre baby I worked in a semi formal but not corporate office and my off work style was pretty similar, jeans & shirts, lots and lots of dresses etc. I was never really trendy and struggled even then to look ‘cohesive’ instead of wearing random things together. But then came the pandemic & pregnancy. I lived in athlesure wear and then baggy clothes in the first year. Now I’m going out again and am back in the office for a new job and I have no idea what to wear.

My dresses feel off as I’m on the floor with my toddler, jeans and shirts feel restrictive. I seem to either look messy in leggings/jeans & tees or like I’m going to the office in ankle pants and a top. Plus everything ends up dirty after 1 wear.

How do I find what to wear again?

Dress in dresses for work then change into your comfy clothes when home. I see a lot of dresses out there - pretty floral ones seem on trend.

Thanks but about weekends and winter? I feel like my clothes need to be multi purpose. Not just work clothes and then leggings/jumpers. I often go to the park and then off somewhere else where I don't want to be in leggings/skinny trousers.

I wasn't well enough the last two winters to be out of the house much (PND) but now that I am I'd like to look good and be warm and be stylish to feel good in myself.

Search for fav brands on eBay so inexpensive until you settle?
I like white stuff , boden , Joules dresses and boots for autumn . Joanie has great one off pieces I wear for good then work when I’m bored with them most things can be dressed up or down. Hth? X

Jeans with stretch and more comfy and sweatshirts are very on trend, add cool trainers or chunky ankle boots in winter.
Shackets over a stripe t , with jeans, are everywhere this autumn.

Are you in insta? Loads of great accounts to follow for inspiration. People like jess soothill or pascale banks maybe worth following. Save the outfits you like and refer back to when you go shopping?
