Please help my poor dry eye lids??

I sometimes get eczema on my eye lids although no flare up at the moment. My eye lids get a little itchy and dry. Right now with no make up on they are ok but as soon as I put eye shadow on it sits horrible and is all patchy. Iv tried so many creams and nothing has helped. GP juts give steroids which I don’t want to use and is a last resort when eczema is bad. Please can anyone recommend something that is safe to use on my eyes for sensitive skin? Lately I’m using something someone on here recommended, I think hydrosil but that is doing nothing sadly .

Ok thanks will look at those creams.

to Add I don’t have a flare up of eczema, my eyelids are dry and can get puffy… I want an every day cream that stops them getting dry and iv tried loads

I use Eucerin twice a day, every day now, as my perimenopausal skin has got much drier. It keeps the eczema at bay too but works as a general moisturiser. They do one with spf for the face as well.

I use Eucerin 5% urea facial cream and it's the best I've used for my eczema prone dry face. I use it around my eyes with no issue. If they are very dry then opt for one of their creams with the higher urea content.

Perhaps try cream eyeshadow if you want to carry on wearing it, or try to go without when you're at home etc to give the skin a break.

Nivea keeps mine at bay - the one in the blue pot. I put it on twice a day and no more puffy dry eyelids.

If you know anyone with a Beauty Pie membership, ask them to order a tube of Happy Face. It contains cica which is very soothing, and I often use it on my eczema-prone nipples.

Also - what are you using to take ofd your eye makeup? Have you changed mascara recently?

I had eczema or something similar around my eye. Clinique eye cream sorted it out - I forget the name of the cream, but hard core moisturising eye cream. I spoke to a doctor at the time who said they didn't want to prescribe for skin around the eye if possible (steroids) because the skin is so thin, but she liked the idea of an off the shelf eye cream because it's completely safe around eyes. My eye was properly red and scaly, and the Clinique cream cleared it up really quickly.

Exactly the same mascara and eye shadow I have used for years (obviously been replaced!) normally only get dry in winter but I guess the heat has made it worse. I don’t know why my eye shadow won’t sit nicely… it is patching.. sitting on the skin. My under eye feels fine to touch but as soon as I put concealer on it seems to suddenly create small dry patches’
