I think it’s time to start using an SPF, so do I use it over my moisturiser ? And won’t it make my face greasy ?

I have the same question - Looking for an SPF 50. I have really oily skin and currently use an SPF combined with a moisturiser and i'm told thats no good!

You don’t need to use a moisturiser if your skin is oily. Just apply the spf after cleansing (plus/minus serum). I use Nivea shine control - it’s the best out of many I’ve tried - everything else makes me shiny.

The only one I've found that doesn't give me spots is an Elemis one, SPF 30. Goes over moisturiser. I've even patted it on over make-up.
Will rebuy even though it costs about £30

I use La Roche Posay Anthelios UVmune. It’s SPF50 and feels really lightweight.

I do have drier skin though so can’t say whether it’s great on oily skin.

Ultra Violette SPFs are the best I have tried for face. They sit beautifully under makeup. For oily skin Lean Screen is amazing.

I got this one, simply because it’s what was in Tesco.
Just put some on my arm to test it and I’m surprised how much it disappears. No white film or greasy texture, it’s gone.

Altruist face fluid is a good budget option

Ultra violette face fluid is a more expensive one that's fab.

Beauty pie with primer is great

Depends how much you want to spend

You might not need moisturiser too
