How often do you go to the hairdresser?

I find with everything going up, I have had to scale appointments back to 10 weeks. Luckily my hair is in reasonably good condition and I just get a brunette balyage so am able to maintain the roofs with a root touch up at home. How often does everyone generally have their hair done?

10 weeks, but I'm quite fair with highlights so my roots never look that bad.

I actually quite like the dramatic change if I skip an appointment 😂

10 weeks but I've stopped having it coloured.

I went in 2019 I think.

2/3 times a year but I have rather long hair that I occasionally pop a semi permanent colour on at home. I have no grey to cover or particular style to maintain. I also hate going to the hairdressers. All that small talk 🤮

I go every five weeks - very precise cut with a tricky fringe. I could scale back to six if I needed to but am happy to prioritise it and cut back in other areas if need be. I get my eyebrows waxed/threaded in a salon but otherwise am 100% DIY.

About every 12 weeks, but I’ve got long curly hair so can get away with it. I colour it myself with just a dark brown all over colour to get rid of a couple of greys. I also have a wet cut because I prefer to use my own products and dry it myself so it’s cheap.

Every 8 weeks or so. Before pandemic went more, but now have a hairstyle which can go longer.

I last went in 2020

I used to go every 7 weeks for a colour but now I've stopped dyeing it I'll probably go more like every 12 weeks for a trim.

6-8 weeks or a little bit longer.

I used to go every 10 weeks, since covid i haven't been once, I trim my own hair and put a few highlights in now and then, I have straight long hair with a few front layers, I just use a bleach highlight kit from wella, the same kit I have used for years inbetween salon visits.

I last went in October. My hair is wavy/curly, one length apart from the very front bit. I’ve coloured it myself for about 14 years and I trim the front occasionally.
I could do with booking an appointment for a couple of inches off the bottom. It looks fine but it’s a bit heavy when I tie it up.

Every 7 weeks for cut & colour. It is expensive though. But I’m not high maintenance in other ways.

I have very short hair. My ex salon hairdresser works from her garden and charges me £45
It's my only luxury!

I'm 38 and I've never been. I'm basically still a child 😢😢😢

3 weeks, dark hair at least 50% grey. Lots of shiny silver roots.

7 weeks for cut and full head colour, used to go every 5 weeks but cut back this year. Just have to have roots for a bit!

Every three months more or less - same as always. I have thick wavy hair and it looks fine for ages until suddenly it looks like a bush.

Every 4 weeks for my roots. At a push 5.

Every 6 weeks for trim and blow dry £60 a time including tip. No other salon or expensive products so my only indulgence.

Haven't been for about 4 years. I hate them. I cut my own fringe and leave the rest.

The last time I went was to get my hair styled for my wedding in 2018.

Before that, maybe 2011 when I graduated university.

I hate the hairdressers. Sensory overload.

I hate going to the hairdresser. I only go when it desperately needs cutting, so only about 4 times a year. I colour it at home.

When I had a short bob I went every 6-8 weeks, I'm growing it now though and I'm stretching it to 10-12 weeks. I colour it myself, as can't justify the expense or time of getting that done professionally too.
