Brow lamination

Are people still doing this? I haven’t had my brows done professionally since Feb 2020 - I liked the way my brows grew out and I enjoyed not having the stress of having to hammer it home to the person threading them (tried loads) that I wanted them leaving thicker.

I like the brushed up eyebrow look, it clearly makes brows look thicker which I like. I do mine with the Anastasia gel but it’s doesn’t do it perfectly, think the fact I have quite coarse wiry brow hair does not help and they invariably go a little crispy.

I have been thinking I would have them laminated but have recently seen a couple of people who I’m 90% certain have had it done and it looks a bit odd close up.

also I had the patch test and they insisted on putting plasters over the top even though I told them I’m really allergic to plasters. Obviously got a rash and then about a week later after being in the sun quite a bad photosensitivity reaction in one of the test areas. Didn’t have it anywhere else and thought too much of a coincidence, but of course could have been the plaster. Has anyone else heard of people have photosensitive reactions, slightly alarming in this weather 😂.
