Non underwired bra for big chest

Can anyone recommend a good non wired bra for a bigger chest?

Ideally something which comes with cup sizes as opposed to small/medium/large.
I always find with s/m/l sizing the band is too big and the cup part too small.

Im currently at the beginning of a pregnancy and the underwires are starting to irritate and Id like an alternative.

I really struggle with finding bras that fit well. So far all the non wired ones I've tried either squash your boobs together, offer zero support or are gapey in the middle where a wired bra would sit flat to the chest. Either that or they don't make them in a size big enough for me.

I'm actually a little concerned I will struggle to find bras large enough if I grow much bigger so only recommendations from size inclusive ranges please 😁

And recommendations would be so helpful!

What size bra do you usually wear? Bravissimo is an obvious first place to check.

Marks and Spencer Flexifit

Molke they’re fab.
and I got great bras from www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/34l-nursing-bra.asp when I was in a 34L and breastfeeding.

Bravissimo Flora is very comfortable and supportive.

TimmyMeatballs · 10/08/2022 22:06

I wore Molke original style bras through pregnancy, they’re ideal.

Bravissimo are great but with the pregnancy you're going to struggle. I have a couple of conturve bras which are very comfortable as well

Badger1970 · 10/08/2022 22:16

Molke made my rather ample chest look an awful lot bigger........ and not in a good way. There's no support in them at all.

Glamorise do a really good range of non wired bras and they don't give you the dreaded mono boob. They've got wide supportive straps and are really comfy - but not remotely glam as the name would imply Grin

Hot Milk (Aussie brand but sold widely in the uk) are great. Designed to be worn during pregnancy and you can also breast feed in them so dual purpose, their website has lots of advice on how to choose and sizing during pregnancy.

I have been buying Fantasie Jacqueline non wired full cup bras for the past year or two.

Chimchar · 10/08/2022 22:30

I would say molke too. It's worth mentioning that my massive boobs only work with their black bras, which have a firm fabric rating. The less firm ones are no good for day wear, but very comfy for staying home and slobbing around!

LividLaVidaLoca · 10/08/2022 22:34

Molke original.

I’m around a 34KK and haven’t worn anything else for three years. Started in pregnancy and still breastfeeding with them.

If you get the right size, you’ll have plenty of support. You need to do the measurements on the site and not just guess.

This site seems great.. got a few options which look nice. Have ordered a couple to try. Fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone!

I can’t recommend the Molke bra - I don’t know how you are supposed to get it on without being a contortionist! I COULD NOT get the band over my boobs and there is no way I could step into it either.

www.sugarcandybra.com/
hope the link works, they are sugarcandy if it doesn’t. I got one of these bras when I was pregnant over 3 years ago. They are amazing 😊 I got mine from Bravissimo and have just ordered another online direct from the company. They are not cheap but last really well and are so comfortable. I haven’t gone back to wearing wired bras as I don’t find them comfortable anymore. I’m probably around a size 34GG if that helps.

The Triumph 'Doreen' is a classic non wired bra:
