Wedding perfume

Hi all
I am getting married in December and would like to do over a perfume to wear on the big day
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I tend to go for heavy sweet smells such as angel, coco and Dior fragrances

Have you tried Baccarat Rouge 540? It’s gorgeous and available in a stronger (extrait) version although you need very little of it and it lasts.

I wore Lancome Miracle which is quite heavy but sweet. It's an underrated perfume in my opinion!

Black opium is very popular? La vie est belle by Lancôme is nice and sweet. Or go to the guerlain counter, they have amazing perfumes x

I got mimosa & cardoman by Jo Malone for mine.

I wore Lancome Idole on my wedding day.

Go around a few counters and get ideas, I tried lots but that was my favourite.

I only wear it now on special occasions and it makes me think of my wedding day!

I wore Balenciaga on my wedding day 😊

I love a heavy sweetish smell too. Lots of perfumes go very weird on my skin after an hour or so but this is one that stayed beautiful.

My normal perfumes are Chanel no.5 and JLo if that's any help.

I wore Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique on my wedding day. I LOVE it. I traipsed around John Lewis, Selfridges and Harvey Nicks and sprayed almost 60 perfumes. The friend I was shopping with was quite fed up by the time I bought it 😂

I wore Chloe signature perfume on my wedding day. I’m always being asked what fragrance it is.

Chanel Coromandel?

Hugo Boss Femme or Armani Diamonds would fit that description

I really love Chanel Coco Noir. It's beautiful. I trust myself once a year.

It’s lovely. I have sample sizes of both that and the extrait and a full size of the hair fragrance that is lovely and light.

I might have a look online and see if I can get some samples. I just want it to be special and be a reminder of the day forever x

Go to Fortnums, much nicer perfume department, not as busy as some of the department stores, more room to move about and the selection is incredible.

Samples are great! Chanel are v generous with theirs and a little goes a long way (wouldn't know about Coromandel otherwise!) Have a lovely wedding day and you'll smell great in whatever you choose!

Nothing too heady, there's nothing worse than a strong perfume that you're going to leave traces of all over your guests when you're hugging them.

One of my favourites but wouldn't describe it as heavy.

I just had a sniff and yes you're right, not heavy at all. But still lovely and really quite unique.

Definitely get samples and wear them and see how you find it! Some expensive scents can fade quickly!
