So, I want something to wear over my floral maxi dresses, something to smarten them up and make me look chic (if that’s possible!). It’s cropped in length and is ideally black, navy or a light neutral (beige, cream, taupe).

Alternatively, I’ve spotted a few military-style blazers around. Any thoughts on these, wise MNetters? Or on great, ‘just threw this cool little jacket on’ kind of blazers?

Thanks for your suggestions @peridito, although I’m looking for something is a bit more formal IYSWIM, i.e. that falls into blazer (albeit cropped!) category. Any other ideas, peeps? TIA.
