Plastic piece on toe post sandals.

I know this may sound a bit odd, I did laugh just bought two lovely pairs of toe post sandals both sets having the plastic piece around the toe post, two assistants saying different things 🙄 one saying no you leave it as it stops the rubbing between your toes, the other one working further down the shop tells my friend , you must take the plastic piece off, only found this out when both of us tried on at home

I'm never sure either but gave up on torturing myself with toe posts long ago. Do one of each then you'll know. Grin

I have had toe post sandals that are really really comfortable and others that I could not wear for even one day

I can cope with the leather ones, the fabric ones and the velour one on my Havianas

I cannot cope with the plastic bits at all

You can buy soft rubber bits that wrap round toe posts that stop the rub ( marginally).
I haven't worn flip flops in years as they made my plantar fasciitis play up -plus I was absolutely sick of being given a slow handclap by my own feet any time I went for a walk.
