What are these called?

I used to have a pair of jeans that were exactly right for me:

Mid-rise waist, reasonably fitted around the bum, relaxed fit/loose around the legs and ever so slightly tapered at the ankle so I could roll them up to low calf-length.

I've been looking everywhere for another pair since those ones gave up the ghost but everything seems to either be skinny all the way down, high-waisted, really wide-legged or so roomy I look like I'm wearing a drawstring bag.

What is the name of the jeans style I'm looking for? They must be fairly standard but trying to find them feels like asking for the moon!

@Afterfire Mom jeans (at least where I live) seem to all be high-waisted and a bit baggier than I'm after.

@giffyg I think that's probably the nearest thing, yep. And again, everything I come across in that style seems to be high-waisted. Maybe it's just what's in fashion right now, so it's harder to find.

I’d call them girlfriend jeans. Like in this photo (don’t get excited though as these are no longer in stock!)

Next and Marks and Spencer’s tend to be a good place to look for mid waisted jeans.

Have you tried Next? They do a mid rise range. The straight leg is possibly the fit you're looking for? Very comfortable!

@Barrachocolate and @Afterfire unfortunately Next and M&S won't ship to where I live. But I might be able to ship to a friend and get them to send them out...
