£250 High Street voucher- ideas on what to buy

I’m very fortunate to have been given a £250 high street voucher: it can be spent in various shops like John Lewis, M&S, Waterstones, Boots etc.

Ive had it for a while as I can’t decide what to get. I want to get a treat with it, rather than lots of useful/essentials as I would rarely spend that much money on something.

It’s going to expire in a few months so I need to use it, any ideas to help me?

I think it depends if you want something to keep - where did the voucher come from? I’m a lecturer and often get generous vouchers from my graduating class. I tend to buy something to remember them with rather than eg a lovely candle that burns away or bath/skin stuff that gets used up quickly. This year’s class gave me an ASOS voucher and I bought a beautiful necklace (Whistles) which I wear a lot, and some Nike running leggings because I like the idea of them spurring me along as I plod round the park.
