Are these boots a bit "AbFab"?!!

I don't know why I am drawn to them... I was looking for some sensible black ankle boots.
Would be to wear with black jumper dress and tights in the winter. Are they ugly?!

Cool? No! Um, not sure what to say except I can't imagine them going with many outfits, but yeah if you'll wear them then buy them.

They’re hideous but they look so comfy! I reckon you could style it out with the right attitude.

I have some tent slippers which look similar (but not boots, obviously) and I have repurposed them to wear around the house because they are so snug.

They’re for camping mainly, so you can take off boots etc but not be barefoot in the tent. Mine are now my pottering in and out of the garden slippers.

I had some of those when I was a student in the 80's. They were very comfy. Mine were black.

They might look cool if you're tall and slim. They'd look frumpy and dumpy on me.

They look perfectly sensible in terms of warmth and a thick sole to keep you out of puddles.

The tent slippers beat the boots for being simultaneously sensible and bonkers.

They do have them in black, I just had a look. On ASOS.
Unfortunately there are some very negative reviews for the black boots listing. There weren't any reviews for the green boots.
Shame because I've ordered them already!

Black would look too much just like snow boots from Millets or the like. Which are excellent footwear if there's several inches of snow on the ground.

Moon boots! Are they coming back? I had a lovely red pair as a child in the early 80’s. They were lovely and warm!
