I have rubbish feet and a wedding to go to. Help me find some decent shoes?

<<Aaaaaaargh>>

I am struggling with a bit of heel pain, my toes have been bashed about and now really object to being squished at all. Can't and won't tolerate heels anymore.

I have been looking seriously at Hotter.

Can anyone recommend a really, really comfy flat shoe in a nude-ish colour which doesn't look like a Cornish pasty?

Fit flops are said to be comfy and have good support - rose gold looks pretty

Gabor - styles - Michelle and Snowdrop both look like a style choice rather than a shoes for my sore old feet choice.

What outfit are you wearing?

Ponderingwindow · 04/08/2022 17:17

Look at Vionic

a good orthopaedic shoe is a lifesaver and they have some decently cute styles. I even wear some of the wedges and low heels when I swore I never would wear anything but flats ever again. I just needed proper arch support.

There's a German brand kennel & schumberger that make lovely flat shoes. I'd hunt for ones discounted in sales as they are expensive.

LizzieMacQueen · 04/08/2022 17:37

Kennel & Schmenger not whatever i wrote above.

How about vivaia? They're meant to be really comfy www.vivaiacollection.com/category/flats-c_431.html

Tikki sandals are very minimalist and very comfy. Minimal cushioning, but so light it feels like walking barefoot. This site has a few styles I like.

I have never worn heels in my life but wore a pair for the entire day on my 50th birthday. So so comfortable and really good fit. I've got about 4 pairs now including flats and heels Blush

These are seriously comfy. Sold out in Moda in Pelle but on offer in House of Fraser

Catching up on suggestions, thank you all.
Gabor look like they have some rather nice shoes actually, I didn't realise. They are pricey though, does anyone happen to know if they wear well? (I usually buy Clarks but I can't find a comfortable pair of flats in their current range.)

Love pretty much all of these.

I think I probably have to accept that shoes are going to cost more now 🤦‍♀️
