Soft school Polo shirts

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but you know, they are still clothes….

I’m not buying branded school tops this year as they cost £££s, but the supermarket ones I’ve bought in the past have been really hard and scratchy, while the branded ones stayed nice and soft. Does anyone know which generic plain polos are made of softer fabric? M&S maybe, or John Lewis? I don’t mind spending a
bit more as they’ll still be cheaper than the logo-d ones.

Thanks 😊

I've bought M&S for the first time this year (20% off, don't know if that's still a thing because I got mine a few weeks ago) and they are lovely and soft! Sainsbury's ones are also nice. Don't rate Lidl or George @ Asda ones at all.

I got soft ones from m&s too

My DD has sensory issues and she likes the Sainbury’s TU multi pack ones best.

George @ Asda girls polos with the peter pan collar stay lovely and soft. No curling edge on the collars to rub, either

I think the polos from Sainsbury’s are softer than the ones from M&S.

Sainsburys- they're still soft for dd2 as hand me downs

Next do some jersey fabric ones - nice and soft

Thanks all!

Next, they last really well and survive multiple bleachings too.

M&S stay white actually do a really good job of staying white and my 2 have found them soft. Sainsburys was my go too before though so worth a look. Both often have 20% off school uniform which is worth stocking up during!
