First hints at Beauty Advent Calendars

I know it's August but when this F&M ad popped up on Facebook I couldn't help but feel excited for the advent calendar reveals!

Oooh this looks good. I'm hoping for a liberty one this year

Beauty Advent Calendars will take a heavy hit from the Cost of Living crisis - the time it takes for the advent calendars to sell out will be much longer.

I’ve already had an email from Liberty re their calendar and registered to be advised when available
i bought F&M last year and was really pleased with it. May go there again

I had an email about liberty on Monday to pre register for theirs

The page to register for the Liberty calendar shows the content very clearly. Does anyone know if that's last year's calendar or is it a massive spoiler for this year's calendar?

The Cult Beauty reveal is already out! I actually feel quite relieved that I'm not that excited by the contents as I've got quote a bit of Liberty credit built up and so that one makes the most sense (for my wallet, at least) to get. Even considering just not looking at any contents, ordering the Liberty one, and it all being a total surprise. But where's the fun/timewasting in that?!

Well the Cult one does nothing for me. Only keen to see Liberty because of the credit I have and vouchers too - but last years was poor so hope it’s improved. Most interested in F&M as it was fab last year. Overall though prior to my F&M and one sale John Lewis one a couple of years, ago I’m not that bothered about advent calendars. They are too similar to GWPs but very expensive! Agree with PP that I wonder if they might wane due to cost of living. GWPs certainly take longer to sell out now and Liberty took a long time to sell last year.

I used to have Liberty, but last year I thought it was a bit meh 🫤…so gave it a miss. I’m hoping they step up this year as I also have credit built up with them.
I've checked the F&M contents and feel it might be something different for me, although it might be worth just spending the money on one fab item I desire instead.
Cult beauty is definitely a no from me…same old stuff, quite boring really.

I have loads too…then had a mild panic about expiry dates, thought I better not have more, but here I am (again) 🙄
F&M released…too early I say as I want to know what’s in Space NK and Liberty before I decide! 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if stores will try a bit harder this year if it might be harder to attract customers to spend up to £300 on what’s basically a box of samples.

It would be nice to think so, wouldn’t it 😊 maybe they haven’t got the message yet in their luxury bubble!
With all of the beauty subscriptions and GWP, value boxes etc…I’m feeling a bit saturated. I wonder if all of the Covid measures mean that brands are not launching as many new products, also not many new brands on the market. I remember all the hype with AB and now most people are..🙄 not another AB advent calendar item.
I like the F&M one but not sure about all of the Noble Isle stuff…not that impressed with the brand, I still have a lot of the shower gel miniatures that I haven’t used.

Just got a email re the F&M, for £245 I am not purchasing nothing really for me.

lm so glad there is no AB..hurrah! 😁 I’m weighing up the hits and misses…although there are sone definite hits! Going to mull it over, as it’s not until the end of September, I’m sure even I could make a decision by then 🙄

I just like the M and S one. Much cheaper 😃
