Just received the attached from Seasalt?

What is "Cornish" about maroon and faded denim blue?

The denim blue is the same blue as Cornishware.

They look drab

Fuck knows. Seems a bit of a reach, doesn't it?

They probably mean it looks a bit like the colours their MIL had on a blanket in the back of a car in 1957.

Or something to do with sky and plants. Cos they're different in Cornwall to anywhere else. Obvs.

Colours of cars stuck in the tailbacks on the Cornish roads?

The denim blue is the same blue as Cornishware.

Interesting. I had no idea that blue and white striped Sylvia was called Cornishware. On reading about it, however, it seems to have been made in Derbyshire and have only a tenuous link with Cornwall.

Also the blue looks more vivid/turquoise than on that tunic.

Sylvia? Sylvia? That was meant to say "stuff".

There is a colour called Cornish Blue, but it's not that blue. It's more the colour of the sea reflecting a blue sky.
