What will they have to prise out of your cold, dead hands?

Following on from my last thread, things you cba with, what will they have to prise out of your cold, dead hands? Clothes, treatments, products, jewellery...

For me,

  1. Facial threading. If I let this go, just please take me out the back and put me out my misery.
  2. Colouring my (head) hair (I am naturally "librarian brown" with a few greys but am blonde at heart)
  3. Bootcut jeans

Sukin Super Greens detoxifying facial scrub

It's completely changed my awful combination PCOS skin. No more premenstrual breakouts and no more unsightly sore dry patches around the edges of my mouth and nose. Even the old acne scars and uneven skin tone looks so much better. Im 40 now but my skin looks the best it's been in years since using this.

Immediately orders this off Amazon Star

Dermol 500 and antihistamines, preferably fexofenadine. My dry itchy skin would kill me without those two anyway

liveforsummer · 31/07/2022 21:45

My skinny jeans - you can tell me they are out all you want but idc oh and leggings - love them not taking those either!

@DonateBloodNCheckSmokeAlarms can I politely object to librarian brown? I find the associations with librarians really annoying. It's become a massive cliche - even the Lego librarian has glasses and a cardigan.
It doesn't help, the profession has loads of brilliant young men and women, I'd hate others to be put off by the tiresome and old fashioned stereotypes.
Sorry, rant nearly over. Probably born from me being told by several people that I don't look like a librarian. My answer is always a smiling, what do you think a librarian looks like? And they can't ever answer. I'm sure on this day and age we don't buttonhole engineers/teachers/doctors in the same way.
Sorry OP, you probably didn't mean to cause offence, but it hit a nerve

Those that said HRT, do you mean because of how you feel or how you look? I've just started it, and immediately feel less hot and am sleeping better but will I look better too???

stillherenow · 31/07/2022 21:58

Also tweezers particularly for the annoying hairs that grow out of a facial mole .

And the antidepressants I started 6 weeks ago. I'm never giving those up.
