@lljkk I'm surprised a 32" waist is a 16 at m&s?

I thought sizes have been 8=26, 10=28, 12=30.. for ages? So I'd have thought a 32 was a 14.

BungleandGeorge · 31/07/2022 11:44

I’m surprised you’re smaller on top as you have broad shoulders and rib cage and slender hips and thighs. I think it’s inverted triangle shape. Well done for the weight loss!

PandoraP · 31/07/2022 11:44

I guessed 14, but so difficult to tell in photos. I am a size 8 with a small frame, but I can look much bigger in photos.

great figure by the way OP!

landonbaby · 31/07/2022 11:44

A nice in proportion size 12 Smile

pushions · 31/07/2022 11:45

@Svara that's my understand & I worked in buying! A 16 was always a 34" waist

crochetmonkey74 · 31/07/2022 11:45

14

ScurryfungeMaster · 31/07/2022 11:46

About a 10-12

G0forit · 31/07/2022 11:47

10-12

hopeishere · 31/07/2022 11:50

@UWhatNow sorry but I look the same and I know what size I am 🤷🏻‍♀️

You look great @Pibbitypobity

ClaudineClare · 31/07/2022 11:51

I would have said 12-14, surprised you are a 16 bottoms. You have a great figure and lovely legs.

Just checked &other stories. A size 16 is a 31.5inch waist and a 12, 28.3 inches. Many places are similar

rc22 · 31/07/2022 11:54

12

There's absolutely zero consistency in womens' sizing.

I'm a 12-14 and in my wardrobe now, I have size 8 and size 16 jeans that both fit me perfectly.

SherbertLemonDrop · 31/07/2022 11:56

A 10

LatriceRoyale · 31/07/2022 11:58

14/16 depending on the store

SherbertLemonDrop · 31/07/2022 11:59

I'm a 5ft 6 or 7 and a 14/16 and see myself as HUGE. I feel like a whale. You on the other hand look tiny! I put you as no bigger than a 10.

BinBandit · 31/07/2022 12:02

Well done OP you are looking great. I just wanted to say that it gets harder to lose the pounds the closer you get to your target so don't get downhearted if you don't get there by Christmas. You are carrying around less weight for a start so the exercise burns less calories.

Coachwork · 31/07/2022 12:04

Well done on the weight loss. You don't look a 16/18. I find sizes mad anyway.

Summerslam · 31/07/2022 12:06

Why do you want people to hazard a guess? You could be anything from a 12 to a 16. Nice outfit, shame about the socks.

Summerslam · 31/07/2022 12:08

Congratulations on your weight loss. You certainly don't look as as if you need to lose another 2 stone though. You have got a lovely figure.

BinBandit · 31/07/2022 12:09

I guessed a 14. I'm 5'10 and my BMI is just a smidge under 25 and I am still a 14/16 in most things. I'm mid 50s though and after 2 CSections, menopause and a fist sized width gap in my stomach muscles that has never gone back, I cant seem to get rid of my tummy and that's never a place where I have generally held weight.

bubblesbubbles11 · 31/07/2022 12:10

Why does it matter? You have tits I am envious of and a lovely body.

dawngreen · 31/07/2022 12:11

I will say a size 18 but its hard to tell with that picture, and the stripes on the top don't help. But then I am wearing the same coloured top with stripes.
