Oh I've read your update. No I'd have been surprised that you're a 16, but I wouldn't have questioned you as I tend to assume people know what size they buy!!

I would have guessed 12/14 - as you say mainly from looking at the top. Skirts are a bit tricky to guess since they kind of hid your shape and silhouette - maybe in trousers it would have been more obvious that you’re a larger size on the bottom.

But anyway- you look great!

I'd be surprised that you're a 16, the skirt looks a size too big on the hips though.

is your waist really 34"? maybe your boobs make it look smaller

From the front I'd have said 20 bottom, 12/14 top to allow for the boobs!

You really don't look a 16 - you seem quite slim but with a large busy. I feel like trousers probably don't suit you and a wrap dress would look lovely.

You still look smaller on the bottom than the top in the front angle to me.

I have a similar shape @Pibbitypobity & think I look much better in dresses then skirts & tops.

I think you have such slim calves that they were probably very surprised when you said the skirt was a 16. Well done on your weight loss!
