Has botox caused this indent in my forehead?

Can anyone familiar with botox help me with this?

I've been getting botox from my neurologist to treat migraines so its not done cosmetically. Its done every 3 months and I've had 4 treatments so far. They inject in 4 places at the top of my forhead in my hairline. Over the last 2 months I've noticed this vertical indent appear at my hairline in the middle of my forhead. I can feel the dent with my finger but its only really visible in certain lights.

Nethertheless its making me really self conscious as I don't deal with changes to my appearance well and I'm worried its going to get worse.

I asked the neurologist who said it could be from the botox and just to tell the nurses to skip that area next time. But will this ever go away once the botox has worn off or am I going to be stuck with this now?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same?

Hmm, I don't have experience of this so am mainly bumping this for you. However, it is a bit of an odd place to get an indent so I would assume it's the Botox which has caused it.

If that's the case then I'd imagine it will fade as the Botox wears off. It really doesn't look bad at all though.

I hope it will fade as the botox wears off but I have seen other people online saying theirs didn't go away but I'm hoping as I've only had 4 treatments that it's not too late for it to be able to reverse.
The logical part of my brain understands that it probably doesn't look that bad and that its not a big deal but as I have such a hard time with my appearance and my confidence I tend to fixate on "flaws" and see them as a lot worse than they are.

Sali Hughes the beauty influencer has lots of Botox and she has an indent in her head now. I've always assumed it must be from the Botox.

Did it go away? I’m experiencing the same thing after getting Botox for 15 years :(

RudsyFarmer · 01/12/2023 22:11

What would cause the dent if it was Botox?

Payakan · 01/12/2023 22:43

@OneScotchEgg do you still have the dent or did it eventually go away?
