Wedding Abroad- HELP

Afternoon,

We're going to a wedding abroad next month, the wedding is in the afternoon and outside, temps set to be 35ish degrees. I'm dreading it, I have frizzy hair if it's remotely humid and my current medication seems to make me sweat a gross amount.

What can I do about a hat? Is a straw hat of any type acceptable? I wilt in the heat and don't tend to go anywhere daytime on holiday without a floppy hat.

Also, anyone who has any hair/ make up tips appreciated, I know it'll probably melt off but I don't want to look like the honey monster whilst everyone else blooms in the sun. Thanks MNs 😁

I use Superdrug Hair Therapy shine mist after drying my hair, it has Argan oil to coat it and stop frizz. It’s very light and doesn’t leave a residue.

Brill thank you I'll order some of that, was tempted by Colour Wow but mixed reviews put me off.

Make - up - wise - primer, let it dry before putting on your base, and use a setting spray. I use NYX after it was recommended on here.

Can you show us the hat you're thinking of with the outfit?

Hair wise, look up wavy girl/curly girl. Those methods will help avoid frizz. I often go for an updo in humid environments for this reason.

I went to a wedding recently that was about 38 degrees and I can't lie, it was arduous.

If it helps though, immediately after the ceremony everyone stopped giving a shit and hair was piled up in buns, shirts untucked, trousers swapped for shorts and heels swapped for flip flops etc. Even the bride went and put her beautiful thick curly hair up in a plait.

Any Bride & Groom worth attending a destination wedding for will surely want people to be as comfortable as possible so shouldn't expect people to be as polished as they would be in a cooler temperature.

My local superdrug doesn't stock this any more and I can't find it on their website 😢
