What bag do you use for your hand luggage?
Do you go for small rucksack, small suitcase or a weekend style bag, i never get this right!!

It depends on the airline. EasyJet for example has changed hand luggage to something that fits under the seat in front. Unless you pay extra for a cabin bag. Ryan air have always had this policy.

I take a large bag that slings over my shoulder. Put everything else in my hold bag. If I’m only going for a weekend I’ll take a small wheelie suitcase as my cabin bag, and pay for it.

Longer haul isn’t a problem as I can take my large shoulder bag and whatever else I want.

This is my favourite travel bag, it's super practical.

I’ve done all of the above.

Depends if I have to travel further and carry the bag or need wheels!

London weekend I took a rucksack
Going away for 5 days - long walk to hotel then a train later in the week - I need wheels!

I have a small wheely suitcase and then (as I travel mostly for work) I have a "personal item" which they class as a backpack or laptop bag. Laptop, paperwork, headphones and toiletries go in there.

Thanks everyone ☺ I'm flying with tui so will have to take a look at what they allow, can't remember!! Last time we flew ( which was either Ryan Air) i felt my bag could have been a lot bigger!
