Should I shave my face

Hear me out!
Ive heard of micro dermabrasion which gets rid of all the peach fuzz on the face. Apparently make up looks a lot better and not as cakey afterwards. Could I just shave the peach fuzz off my face? Does anyone do this? I always find foundation/powder gathers in the fuzz

It’s called dermaplaning….I get it done professionally and I LOVE IT. Once every 6 weeks and hasn’t grown back any different. Love the way serums feel on it, and make up looks great.

With a derma blade you mean?
I’ve contemplated it but I’m imagining the upkeep. Will there be prickly bits after a couple of days?

I shave my peach fuzz and tash weekly with a Gillette fusion.

Blackdiame · 29/07/2022 20:08

I do it all the time. It doesn't grow back spiky like leg hairs. It takes a couple of weeks before I notice the fuzz again and it's no effort to just shave it off.

I do this
with some Japanese razors I saw recommended on here that you get on Amazon. I was nervous too but haven’t noticed bad re growth and it does feel lovely. Apparently it’s not as smooth as having it done professionally, I do it about once a week

I dermaplane once a week. Though have started waxing the tache area instead as that grows through a bit prickly with dermaplaning.

Infinitemoon · 29/07/2022 20:18

I do it and it's fine it just grows back the same no stubble.

I do I absolutely love it. My whole face looks so much better

WingBingo · 29/07/2022 20:20

I use a Hollywood Browzer on my tache, does the job!

great for dermaplaining

Whatadayyyy · 29/07/2022 20:26

Oh wow thanks! And yes dermaplaining is what I was meaning! I think I will give it a go then. That was one of my main worries, the hair growing back prickly or like obvious stubble. Do you just shave the whole face?!

You can use depilatory creams made for the face; works brilliantly and doesn't cost a load or involve a razor.

Yes whole face, I do nose, forehead, the lot. Not because there are hairs there, it just exfoliates. Have a look on YouTube at some videos of how to do it.
