Recommendations for cheaper lippies

Bobbi Brown keep increasing the price of lippies. What was £26 has gone up to £28, and my fave Luxe one is now £30.

I will buy them still with a discount offer, but I'd love some ideas of others that are cheaper and for more 'everyday wear'. (and where you can find a tester which seems to exclude Boots!)

I'm a bit out of touch with all the new brands so any ideas, thanks! Happy to look at Rimmel and L'Oreal (but struggling to find testers.)

Oh, and I tend to wear nude pink-beige so they are always at the palest end of the colour choices.

Mac has lipsticks on offer at the mo for £14.
I also rate Rimmel and Essence.

I highly recommend Maybelline superstay It's double ended with a balm you apply over the lipstick
Lots of great colours on each end of the spectrum and I can vouch for its longevity

I’m going to recommend the traditional bullet type as I think that’s what you’re after

Try the Milani ones at Boots
ELF Seriously Satin at £4 are great
NYX Shout Loud or NYX Suede Matte

NYX and GOSH are good.

I swear by Boots 17 they have some very highly pigmented ones and are as cheap as chips .

I love these lipsticks, and the regular superstay ones too although they are a little drying.

Rimmel do 'stay Matt' and 'Stay Satin' liquid lipsticks that are similar, the stay satin hasn't quite the same staying power but is much less drying.

My current favourite is a Benefit 'lip balm' that is actually a lipstick. Lovely and creamy.

Mac minis are only a tenner and last for ages.

Another one who loves maybelline lippies

LadyOfTheCanyon · 01/08/2022 09:56

Revolution don't have a huge range but my God, are they pigmented! About £6 a pop.

I love L'Oreal in gold packaging. I use nude colour. Great for every day, very rich and creamy.
