Hair Colour

Hi all,

My teen wants to add blonde highlights to her hair - she is a dark blonde/light brown colour at the moment.

I am not letting her have permanent colour - just a boxed semi-permanent colour.

I have only had brown hair so never gone for a blonde colour so don't really know what I am looking for.

Anyone got any recommendations at all?

You'd be better off with subtle highlights. The semi-permanent does strip some colour from the hair so she might end up with contrasting roots.
If you are really cautious, you could go for balayage as it will be easier to grow out.
