M&S dodgy sizing issues. Anyone else?

Last week I ordered DD a size 10 swimming costume. M&S sent me a size 20.
Then I ordered a size 8 skirt. The skirt says 8 on the label but it's at least a 14 (I've got the same skirt in another colour so I know it's not just a very generous style).
There's no way of giving a reason when you do online returns now and I can't find any way to complain or give feedback on the website.
Has anyone else had this recently? Not sure if it's a factory/labelling issue or a warehouse issue but I wish they would sort it out. It's putting me off ordering anything else.

Yes, the sizing is all over the place at the moment and the quality is shit. Definitely puts me off ordering anything, even though some of their current stuff looks ok online.

It's such a shame. As you say, some of it's nice online but I don't trust the sizing now. I don't have the time to get to a shop to try on either.

Definitely all over the place the moment, I ordered a dress in 12 that was too tight but a blouse in 8 is too big. It's a hassle to return and reorder but the shops don't always have everything in stock either.

Their sizing is bonkers. I tried a size 10 dress on yesterday that was too big, along with some size 14 trousers that I couldn't fasten.

M and S sizing is so inconsistent that I never order online from them. Luckily we have a huge M and S about 20 minutes away so I go there and take several sizes into the changing room and try them on before buying.

I do this too, but from a size 10 to a 20 sounds a bit extreme. Maybe there's something wrong with their systems?

I bought some black jeans from M&S in a size 10. They fitted perfectly and I was really pleased with them so I popped back for the identical pair in blue. I picked up the right ones, in the same size.I took the labels off without trying them on because why would I?
Except they were too big. I had to get them in an 8. And I am nobody’s size 8!
(The other pair are now my January jeans)

True. But there's inconsistent and then there's size 20 instead of size 10! I think there's something off with their systems.
