Can anyone recommend one please? Keen to move away from plastic.

I love Nuud. I was sceptical but it really works (for me). The tube is made out of bioplastic sugar cane, and it’s shipped in cardboard.

I’ve recently converted to Wild deodorant. Case is aluminium and refills are compostable (and last ages). I think I can refer people if you’re interested?

SirVixofVixHall · 24/07/2022 11:39

Wild stained our clothes with grease and made the armpits of them smell really strange and horrible, took loads of washes to get it out .
I use the Natural Deodorant Co one now, in a glass jar. Works well on all of us (DH and I, two teenage girls) . Not strongly scented which I like.

smelters · 24/07/2022 11:42

Ku tis works really well for me

LoveLabradors · 24/07/2022 12:58

I like the natural deodorant co one too. Lemon and geranium is my favourite although I like the mint as well. I tend to buy it when it’s on offer in Holland and Barrett as it’s quite expensive. My only criticism is when it’s cold in winter it can be tricky to
warm it sufficiently to apply.

MooMinCow · 24/07/2022 16:00

That’s strange, can’t say I’ve experienced that issue (although some refills do go on smoother than others)

hugoagogo · 24/07/2022 17:03

I love 'We Love the Planet' sensitive, the orange was great, but made my armpits sore.
Never smell with it, but it does nothing to stop sweating, so no good when I am working in the heat- my work tops show damp patches terribly.
If anyone knows of a natural antiperspirant I would be very interested.

Mercurial123 · 24/07/2022 17:10

Ben & Anna.

Akite · 24/07/2022 17:10

I use Wild too, absolutely brilliant. I tried a few other plastic-free ones before this and didn't get in with them but wild is brilliant and performs as well as my previous (Mitchum) deodorant.

HardRockOwl · 24/07/2022 17:14

I have used Salt of the earth for ages now and rate them

I did use Native when they shipped to the UK but they started to make me sore

Twoshoesnewshoes · 24/07/2022 17:30

We all use wild, really like it
just give it a few minutes to dry before getting dressed.

EspeciallyDeIighted · 24/07/2022 17:50

I've been using Earth Conscious for a few months, coconut oil and lavender which smells gorgeous and works brilliantly, it's in a cardboard push up tube which can be composted.

moimichme · 24/07/2022 18:19

I've been using Ethique deodorant this year (vanilla and lavender scent) and I like it. It comes in a small cardboard box, no plastic, and gentle enough to use even just after shaving my armpits.

Sparkletastic · 24/07/2022 18:20

AKT is the best I've tried. Really works, smells great and fully recyclable metal tube.

TheBikiniExpert · 24/07/2022 18:21

I love Salt of the Earth but the casing is plastic! I think it is recyclable though.

BusySittingDown · 24/07/2022 18:29

Wild is great!

After years of using Dove stick antiperspirant I have been converted.

PriamFarrl · 24/07/2022 18:31

I use Fussy. It doesn’t have palm oil in it, which Wild does.

PawPrintsInMyPansies · 24/07/2022 20:45

I love Wild. Haven’t had any issues with staining. Have had some white marks in dark clothes, but these are easily cleaned off: I would recommend it.

RaininginDarling · 24/07/2022 23:34

Simply Effective. I've tried so many natural deos that either didn't work or ruined clothes due to staining. I find SE doesn't stain, or cause itching and it smells amazing. The refills are great value too.

NordVeg · 25/07/2022 10:04

we've been using Wild for a few months - the scents are lovely & really linger all day. It's only a deodorant, not anti-perspirant though

CremeDeSudo · 25/07/2022 15:34

I really didn't like Wild. It left bits in my armpits! I've been using the Faith In Nature one but it's rubbish. Smells nice but don't stop me sweating.

Just seen there is a no plastic version too!
