Hello hive mind.

My lovely sis has a big bday soon and I'm thinking of a pair of delicate diamond earrings as a pressie.

Budget up to £500

Please hit me with your recommendations of where to buy (and where not!)

Many thanks

I think that lark and berry and also idyl (for which I am being inundated with ads) both have nice looking stuff - both manufactured so good bang for buck and no ethical ick or so I am led to believe.

I have brought all my diamonds from Whiteflash, a very reputable USA online company. The super ideal diamonds are ridiculously sparkly. I have 6 and all receive positive comments.

These would be in budget with VAT and duty you would have to pay.

Depending on the style you want it would be worth asking an independent jeweller what was available for your budget. Lab grown are much cheaper than mined diamonds and more places are selling them.

Thank you everyone. We ended up with diamond store online.

My sister loves them!
