Urgh I've let myself get terribly unruly. I am not high maintenance in any way shape or form but atm I am a huge scruff.

So this weekend I am going to:

Brows - have waxed today, will tint tomorrow
Lashes - will tint tomorrow
'Tache and chin - have tweezed/springy thing'ed
Feet - will do scrub/remove polish then do that thing they used to say in just 17 with moisturiser and socks overnight with my German extra strength cream. Polish toes tomorrow
Nails - will shape and buff today, polish tomorrow
Body hair - get lawn mower out.

Hair - have glossing treatment coming today so will do as hair mask tomorrow
Body - will shove some kind of lotion on me like in silence of the lambs

Anything else? Facial skin seems a bit urgh atm whereas it's usually quite good. I use tret, Nivea and a vit c serum but it's feeling dull and greasy.

Will do walk, yoga and something else today.

I’d suggest some of the peeling foot masks from Poundland as part of your pedi plan. Also full
body exfoliation. Can you put on a moisturiser with a fake tan? Maybe also do a face mask, and get some teeth whitening strips/paste. Go all out :D

a lash lift also adds some instant groom.

Oh and lob about an inch off the end of your hair if it’s ratty

lugeforlife · 23/07/2022 09:37

Ohhhh I could walk down to Poundland! Multi tasking. And dig out the loofah.

I don't do fake tan - never works on me I'm afraid.

My hair is grown out but not horribly - my hairdresser is really good at cutting it in a way it grows out well and I will be seeing her in a couple of weeks.

DH said I look lovely in my trackies and crappy t shirt. This is why I married him

What’s the hair glossing treatment?
I’ve just done same, this week, plus teeth whitening, I love that! And I put a tanning drop in my moisturiser.

do much better!

lugeforlife · 23/07/2022 12:00

@nzeire it's a wella product - it is a colour deposit treatment. I dont colour my hair properly anymore but it's greying at a frustratingly slow rate so I feel quite washed out with it as it's mostly mousy brown with light grey streaks. I yearn for proper silver/white!

The colour deposit stuff gives it a bit more spark and depth.

That sounds lush! Will try out

nithing like a good pampering session to put you back on track!

JimmiChoux · 23/07/2022 13:15

Good for you @lugeforlife, you will feel so much better. I need to sort myself out too. I have no excuses as I have lotions and potions in copious amounts, I just need to get round to using them.

Can I ask what you use to tint your lashes. The last lash tint I bought didn't work, even though I used it with great success throughout my twenties.

"Not high maintenance"

Haha

HolidayPleeease · 23/07/2022 13:50

Try some glycolic acid overnight to properly exfoliate your face.

Has being spiteful cheered you up? Let's hope you wake up in a nicer mood tomorrow

Dental hygienist? I usually go four times a year but moved 70 miles last year so only been back once and feel it.
Some of that you can put in your daily routine (body lotion, foot cream etc). Brows I can leave a bit but not those awful chin hairs.
Get gel done feet and hands that will last weeks!

KalaniM · 23/07/2022 17:04

Wella colour deposit product for hair going grey very slowly..please tell me exactly what it is?!

have you thought about having some babylights put in to brighten up the hair?

StridTheKiller · 23/07/2022 18:25

Drink a shit load of water, eat fruit and veg and get a couple of early nights in. Also exercise? A couple of long walks maybe?
