Toast gathered neck tops

I keep getting adverts for toast gathered neck tops in linen and poplin, on mumsnet. Absolutely love them but they are way too expensive for me. Wonder if anyone has seen any cheaper alternatives anywhere?

The top in your photo doesn’t have a gathered neck line. That looks like a crew neck. just in case that helps you search.

Sorry posted before your second photo which does have a gathered neck. Is it the neck line or the shape of the top you like?

Both really. Usually wear v neck tops cos I'm quite top heavy. Really like the material looks non see through. And the shape is perfect. They look really nice, just way out of my price range. Always have trouble finding nice tops, they usually too thin, too short, too see through, don't hang right.

I know I'm fussy. I usually buy plain self coloured tops and most of my clothes are second hand, from charity shops.

Thanks, they all look like nice, ill have a closer look. Plain as well, just the kind of thing I'm after.

I bought (and very reluctantly returned as too similar to another top I have to justify the price...) that orange top and it's absolutely lovely. Still thinking about it now even though I still can't justify it!
