Found the holy grail leggings years ago at asos the modal ones super soft super stretchy lasted me years then they changed the fabric to cheap tight see through ones so went back to h n m leggings the "better range" ones for £8.99 surprise surprise they were horrible cheap nasty fabric again no stretch etc, I've tried primark about 6 different pairs don't rate them at all, I was pregnant and bought h and m leggings the mama range which were fab towards the end of my pregnancy surprise surprise they changed the material and they are shit , I'm now not pregnant but need a good pair of leggings any recommendations?

Make your own, it's easy

SafeHeaven · 22/07/2022 18:59

Boden ones are good.

you need to pay about £20 a pair for leggings for them to be decent

mrs55 · 22/07/2022 19:06

I don't like viscose in a legging I prefer something with cotton in

Sainsbury's

These are amazing on me (size 12). Stretchy but thick, no elastic at top, just so comfy and never fall down even an inch

Orangio · 22/07/2022 19:09

They aren't cotton, but they're Matt, not shiny

Love leggings do the best ones. I swear by them!

This! They're brilliant and even have petite range which, if you're short like me, is the best thing ever! No more baggy leggings around the ankles

Sainsburys luxury leggings are the best ones I've tried. They are a modal mix. I also like Love Leggings.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 22/07/2022 19:46

another vote for love leggings. I twisted for ages then someone at work was raving about them and I decided to order and they are fab.

Vanishdisappear · 22/07/2022 19:50

I've tried loads and my favourite are from m&s. Not see through and don't roll down my belly.
They are £9.50
I did need to size up, usually a 12 but got a 14.

DelphiniumBlue · 22/07/2022 21:04

Boden.
I've tried others, M&S, Sainsbury's, etc but they are nasty in comparison to the lovely soft Boden ones. They wash well, retain shape and colour, and do not bag at the knees.

I tried those, they don't feel nice, and even worse they were baggy around the knee to the extent that I can only wear them as underwear, under long dresses.

Thanks everyone I honestly think I'll order a pair of leggings from multiple places and find the perfect ones I wish asos hadn't changed the material for the cheap nasty stuff that they did, they were my one perfect pair of leggings , I'll update you all of the winning pair 😂 .

These are my favourite leggings:

bambooclothing.co.uk/category/leggings/

They’re made from bamboo which makes them good at regulating temperature, plus of course they have a good sustainability rating, and they are incredibly soft and stretchy.

They’re expensive but I haven’t paid full price for a pair yet as they almost always have sales on and offer money off for your first order etc. I have about 4 pairs now and I suspect they will last me years.

CocteauTwin · 23/07/2022 10:43

Morrisons do decent modal leggings, I think they're £8. I prefer them to the Sainsbury's ones.

Teacaketotty · 23/07/2022 10:45

Seasalt

I was about to say this they're beautiful quality and wash very well and are super comfy.
I had some maternity ones first as I saw them advertised in a mum and baby magazine article about the best maternity leggings and got them and then I got their standard ones and I've never looked back

Mimimayhem18 · 23/07/2022 10:54

Mint velvet leggings are lovely
