Argh! Fake tan armpit problems!

Had my first spray tan yesterday in prep for my holiday. Was told to exfoliate thoroughly beforehand so bought myself some gloves and went at it. All fine, except a bit over enthusiastic in the armpit area. The fake tan has managed to latch on to the roughened skin and I have dark brown armpit patches (the rest of the tan looks fine).

Is there anything I can do about this? I know that the way to get rid of fake tan patches is to exfoliate away, and I know that the way to deal with over exfoliated skin is to moisturise and leave it. I feel like I'm in a dilemma!

Holiday is on Monday so I have three days before I have to reveal armpits to the world. What should I do next?

Thanks in advance.

Google self tan removers. Bondi Sands self tan eraser gel is good and only around £7.

Chlorine in public swimming pools also bleachers out fake tan.

Have a great holiday Smile

Thanks - just checked it out and looks like I can buy it in SuperDrug so will sort it tomorrow.

Are you sure that's what's happened? Exfoliating should leave your skin smooth, not bumpy. More likely the tan has settled in your hair follicles - this will fade

Save yourself some money and use baby oil. Put it on leave for 30 mins and gently scrub off with an exfoliating mitt. I discovered this last week and it worked a treat
